St Paddys Day

On Sunday my friends and I went to the infamous southie parade for St Patricks Day. Full of loud, green wearing bostonians all looking to celebrate this fantastic holiday. I've actually went to southie parade two years ago but never saw the parade, so I was happy to catch a few glimpses of all the fun marching bands, costumes and random politicians.

Heres a pic I was able to get of all the Star Wars fanatics, not entirely sure why they were in the parade:

It was a perfect day to be in Southie! Hope everyone else had a good St Paddys day, full of green beer and corned beef and cabbage!

Sperrys Anyone?

N keeps telling me that I should get some sperrys, and I am slowly coming around to the idea. I think it would be especially good for when I go to Spain - good/attractive walking shoes that look good with pants/skirts and shorts.

I like these two:

Especially this pair:

N is more into these two:

Spring Time

This week means its officially spring, although thats not exactly true living in boston, one can hope. To help everyone get excited for the warm weather, I've picked out a few spring dresses, all from f21.

I seriously cannot wait until its dress and sandal weather!!

Turkey Burgers

For my supper club I decided to make turkey burgers with feta and spinach topped with caramelized onions. They turned out so well, I had to pass the recipe onto the blogging world. Thanks for my co-workers, here is the recipe:

1 lb of ground turkey
1 package of thawed spinach
1 package of feta cheese
1 yellow onion
rolls
pinch of sugar
olive oil

1. Caramelize the onions with olive oil and a pinch of sugar. This takes the longest.
2. Mix the turkey, spinach and feta together and roll into burger sized balls
3. Grill the burgers and devour.

Piece of cake.

On the side I made sweet potato fries:

Cut up sweet potatoes into equal sized fry shape. Brush olive oil, salt and pepper and bake for 25 min 350 degrees.

Super easy and very delish.
